Virtual Monthly Alliance Meetings
Each Alliance meets virtually every month to provide support to one another and discuss topics relating to career development and challenges. Monthly prompts are provided that align with regular professional development programming.
In-Person Alliance, Regional, and All-participant National Meetings
Knowing the importance of real life connections, ASCEND has hosted a series of in-person meetings. In summer 2021, meetings were held in each of the three regions (Northwest, Midwest, Southeast). In 2022, each alliance planned their own small group meeting. In October 2023, the Steering Committee hosted The Summit, our all-participant meeting. Nearly 90% of the active participants gathered for the first time in Cleveland, Ohio for The Summit. By participating in workshops and learning sessions at regional meetings and The Summit, the attendees were able to learn from one another and share their experiences as they grow in their leadership development.
